Curriculum
I'm a biologist and science teacher. I'm interested in how sexual dimorphism evolves and how it relates to genome and gene expression evolution. I use bioinformatics, molecular biology, and omics methods and techniques to answer evolution questions. I have worked mainly with Drosophila species, but I look forward to working with non-model organisms as well.

TEACHING
I have worked as a teacher in several different contexts in Brazil. From being a teacher's assistant for science experiments in a private school to organising and teaching a prep course for low income students.
TUTORING
Besides teaching big groups I also worked as a private tutor for school children. This included both helping them get organised to study for finals, and also a regular assessment and support through out the school year.
